1. Our Commitment.

1.1 Digital Inclusion. Ratededd exists to connect Homeowners and Contractors, and that mission only works if the Platform is usable by everyone. We are committed to digital accessibility and to treating accessibility as an ongoing part of how we design, build, and maintain the Platform, not as a one-time project.

1.2 Equal Access. Consistent with Section 9 of our Content Guidelines and applicable law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we do not discriminate on the basis of disability in the use of the Platform, and we expect Members to honor the same principle in their dealings with one another.

2. Conformance Status.

2.1 Standards. We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which are widely recognized as the benchmark for web accessibility and inform our obligations under the ADA and similar laws.

2.2 Partial Conformance. The Platform is designed for substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Where any part of the Platform does not yet fully conform, we track it as a known limitation under Section 4 and prioritize remediation.

3. Accessibility Features.

3.1 What We Build For. Among other measures, the Platform is designed and tested with attention to: keyboard navigability and visible focus states; semantic HTML headings, landmarks, and labels that support screen readers and voice control; text alternatives for meaningful images; color contrast ratios and non-color-dependent status indicators; text resizing and reflow without loss of function; predictable page structure and consistent navigation; and responsive layouts usable on small screens and with device accessibility settings.

3.2 Third-Party Content. Member profiles, portfolio media, and linked third-party services are created by Members and third parties, and we encourage but cannot guarantee their accessibility. Where we host or embed third-party technology, we take accessibility into account in our selection and integration decisions.

4. Known Limitations.

4.1 Honesty About Gaps. Despite our efforts, some parts of the Platform may not yet be fully accessible, such as older uploaded media without complete text alternatives, complex interactive visualizations, or flows provided by third-party vendors. We describe current significant limitations here and in release communications where practical, and we work to resolve them as part of normal development.

5. Feedback and Assistance.

5.1 Reporting Barriers. If you encounter any barrier while using the Platform, or if any part of it is inaccessible to you, please contact us at support@ratedeed.com with the subject line “Accessibility,” describing the page or feature, the assistive technology you use, and how we can reach you. We take accessibility reports seriously and aim to acknowledge them promptly and to provide an effective response within a reasonable time.

5.2 Alternative Access. Where a digital feature poses a barrier that we cannot promptly remediate, we will provide the underlying information or transaction through reasonable alternative means, such as email or phone assistance, until the barrier is fixed.

6. Communication Accessibility.

6.1 Your Preferences. When you contact Support, you may request communications in an accessible format, and we will work to accommodate reasonable requests. You may also authorize a support person to communicate with us on your behalf regarding Platform access.

7. Assessment and Improvement.

7.1 Ongoing Review. We assess the Platform’s accessibility through automated testing as part of our development process, manual review of key user flows, and the feedback we receive under Section 5. Accessibility is included in our product review criteria for significant new features.

8. Changes and Contact.

8.1 Updates. We may update this Statement as the Platform evolves or as standards and legal requirements change. The revised version will be identified by a new effective date and posted on this page.

8.2 Contact. Questions about this Statement may be directed to support@ratedeed.com or through the Help Center. Legal notices may be directed to legal@ratedeed.com.
